How we build

La Forge — marketplace apps without the noise.

The apps we enjoy using all have something in common: they don't ask for much. A few clear options, a behaviour that makes sense, and they get out of the way.

That's the spirit we try to bring to every La Forge app. Lean by choice, because your workspace is already busy enough without our tools adding to the noise.

Runs on the platform

Built on each marketplace's native stack — your data never leaves its cloud, and updates ship without downtime.

Native to your tools

Apps integrated at the heart of the product — no friction, right where your teams already work.

Proven security

Security is a feature, not an afterthought. Your data stays protected inside the platform's cloud.

Multiple Assignees

Assign several people to one Jira issue, keep a single owner, and see who is actually moving it forward.

Jira gives an issue one assignee. Real work rarely has one owner. Multiple Assignees adds co-assignees beside a primary owner, without sub-tasks and without leaving the issue view.

One owner, many contributors — primary and co-assignees on a single Jira issue

One owner, many contributors

A primary assignee carries the issue and stays in Jira's native assignee field, so automation, filters and smart values keep working. Co-assignees sit beside them, each with their own share of the work.

Progress, per person

The project report weights each contributor by what they have actually completed and sorts itself, so a glance tells you who is carrying the sprint and who is stuck.

Your rules, applied at scale

Per-project defaults for assignees, the auto-opening panel and notifications. Set them once and every new issue in the project follows them.

Visible on the board

Board cards show the primary owner, the contributor names and a progress bar, encoded in the custom field itself. No configuration, nothing to add to the card layout.

Merge Assistant

Find the duplicates already in your Jira, and merge them without losing what was said on either issue.

Duplicates pile up quietly: the same bug raised twice, the same request from two customers. Merge Assistant finds them where you already work, and folds one issue into another with everything you chose to keep.

Pick duplicates across any project — inline suggestions in the issue panel

Suggested where you already are

The issue panel proposes likely duplicates as you read the issue, so you see them at the moment you would have created another one. Nothing to run, nothing to remember.

One project or the whole instance

Scan a single project when you are tidying it, or sweep every project at once to find the pairs nobody noticed across team boundaries.

You decide what survives

Merge one source or several, field by field, with a full preview before anything is written. Sources are closed and linked, so the trail back stays intact.

Safe on a service desk

Customer-facing comments stay customer-facing and internal notes stay internal through the merge, with per-project templates for what the requester is told.

Our signature

Less, but better.

Behind every app, one belief: software only matters when it solves a real problem — completely.

01

Craftsmanship

Every detail counts. We refine each app until it's sharp, fast and obvious to use.

02

Security first

We treat security as a feature, not an afterthought. Trust is earned — one release at a time.

03

Support that answers

A question or a bug? A dedicated service desk, and a maintainer behind every app.

Your feedback

Got an idea to improve our apps? Let's build it together.

Feature requests, bug reports or simply feedback on what works and what doesn't — we read every message and ship improvements continuously.
